This training incorporates the latest research on how trauma affects the brain and behavior and provides evidence-based tools for how to help clients with their trauma in mind. This training includes brain development, adverse childhood experiences (ACE’s), worker self-awareness, how to address challenging behavior strategically and holistically, and effective ways to help clients recover from trauma through small changes we can make as caseworkers.
