Supportive Services Training

This training is developed to provide case managers with community-based supportive services, tips, toolkits, and other resources on various topics to which they can refer for supplementary guidance and information.

Ethics

This course is designed to help those in the social services field develop abilities to read, explicate, analyze, and evaluate philosophical literature, write and express themselves well about their own ethical positions, and think critically and analytically about ethical issues.

SPDAT Training

The Service Prioritization Decision Assistance Tool (SPDAT) was developed as an assessment tool to help prioritize which clients should receive what type of housing assistance intervention, and assist in determining the intensity of case management services.

It gives an overview of the Continuum of Care, how systems work, best practices in case management, frameworks we practice, and other helpful information. This is an in-person training with a walking tour of the shelters on Lancaster.

Diversion 1.0

Diversion is a client-driven approach; its goal is to help the person or household find safe alternative housing immediately rather than entering a shelter or experiencing unsheltered homelessness.

Harm Reduction

This training is an overview of Harm Reduction, the fundamental principles, and best practices. The trainer will discuss how to administer Narcan and how to use Narcan to reverse an opiate overdose.
