Participants will learn about: Language and Terminology, Understanding Oppression, Facts and Figures, How to Ask Which Pronoun a Person Prefers, Transgender Youth Experiences and Creating Inclusive Spaces.

Multicultural Competency Training

Multicultural competency is defined as the knowledge, skills and personal attributes needed to live and work in a diverse world. These skills are essential and necessary for our work because in order to be successful we must engage with others who are culturally different from ourselves in meaningful ways.
